If you’re looking for a short read or a break from long, intricate books, you may want to give this one a try. I liked all the characters, even the mysterious ones like Zach.

Thankfully, it was a short, easy read. I like that the book is short and simply written, making it a great choice for reluctant readers. It seemed a little convenient with how fast he was able to move right into the popular group. The in-crowd at alsx posh new high school is surprisingly friendly — soon Jason’s hitting all the best parties.

Found out there was another book that was not released in US only in UK, after tracking it down, I finally found it at a second hand booklister and purchased it. Jason was a likeable main character because he seemed like a decent guy, but there was nothing really unique about him. But these rich kids hide a dark secret and soon Jason finds that their parties involve a little more than the usual alcohol and music!

Based on the summary on the b Jason Freeman has moved across country to Malibu, California and he could not be more cuval. Little do they know duvwl they move in that all their new neighbours are vampires.

The author was eager to portray authentic-sounding teen dialogue, but it seemed forced and, at times, outdated. It would be great for tweens, but not me.

Feb 23, Panda rated it really liked it Recommends it for: It was an original idea that kept me guessing and I liked the way it played out.

Bloodlust (Vampire Beach, book 1) by Alex Duval

It takes place in Malabu duavl a bunch of rich, beautiful and cool high school kids. He finds himself along with his friend Adam trying to uncover a mystery but they get more than what they bargained for. Could his Aunt Megan be involved somehow? To view it, click here. Actually, the whole vampire issue wasn’t that big of a deal.

Vampire Beach 2-in-1 bind up Bloodlust & Initiation

I think if more time was spend in character development rather than talking about high school and shopping it bloorlust have bee a three star book. He is concerned when Dani is not fitting in as well as she would like and agrees to take her to a party to help her meet new people.

I just pretended I was lying in the sand among them and it was a great escape. Overall I enjoyed the book unlike a lot of the books I read I doubt that this will end up in my read-again pile. WTF is with vampires and high school? Sienna is the popular, hot girl with a big secret. Adam had the funny lines.

Thanks for telling us about the problem. I found the books very easy to read duvao they ruval capture me in the same way that other YA series I’ve read recently have. P I wouldn’t say that this book is bad, but it’s not as attractive as the other vampire books, BUT!

Bloodlust & Initiation

Goodreads is the world’s largest site for readers with over 50 million reviews. Jason is the typical new kid without too much awkwardness, unless he’s around Sienna. Mar 08, NICO. They accept him lboodlust he’s the cool kid for being friends with the pretty people AND guys like Adam who’s a movie geek that never had an in before now.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read something that will entertain and be a fun, light read. And Initiation was a great bloodludt, with its strong plot, realistic teenage character, a gripping writing style and funny drama between the characters, but instead of action there was suspense to take over. Jason gets swept along by the excitement and is flattered to be included – and also very flattered by the apparent interest of the stunning Sienna.

I wanted bloodlusf investigation, more conflict, more story.

Can we cycle back in REAL vampires please? Nevertheless, I give this book a four because: Oct 08, Sienna rated it really liked it Shelves:
